Evidence of God’s Faithfulness and Grace in the Journey

Homeschooling is a big part of our family’s journey. Some mornings it even determines if I’m able to write in the space… because Math lessons and reading through beautiful stories about the world and people in far-away lands must come first. At least in this season of my life. I shared this on Facebook yesterday, and I thought I’d post it here, too.

I don’t share many pictures of my children online. I suppose it’s because years ago, I felt God leading me to treasure the moments with them and delight in them, rather than posting it all on Facebook for seconds of glory on a newsfeed.

Today’s the exception. I’m finishing our homeschooling portfolio for the school year and I’m overwhelmed by God’s goodness and faithfulness. Looking back through the pictures, and the work done, leaves me in awe of what God is able to do when we yield to His leading. I love that learning becomes more than just a workbook and busy work. Rather, education becomes a lifestyle… learning happening everywhere we go. <3 Any homeschooling mama will tell you that there are hard days, amazing days, crying days, and laughing days. In order to reap the good, you must be willing to endure and persevere through the very hard…Sharing a testimony of God’s goodness and beauty (in pictures) in spite of very difficult moments throughout this school year.

Praying it would encourage you to lean into the process God takes you through. Trust His leading. Then move in faith. Watch as He orchestrates a story far more beautiful than any you could have created yourself <3

(The little one is much more willing to have her picture taken than the big one.)

Here’s to finding beauty in our journey! Go ahead, go through your pictures. It might look a bit different for you, but I’m sure you’ll be able to find evidence of God’s faithfulness and grace in your journey, too!
