{Father’s Day Weekend At A Glance}

Our family made a decision almost two years ago to live off of one income in order that I could stay home with the kids. It’s a sacrifice. Yet it’s one we are willing to make. It’s not easy to step out of the ‘normal’. Especially during the holidays. In the United States, holidays such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, and Christmas have become so commercialized. Every year the gadgets are more appealing (and costly), the debt increases, and the payments continue long after the holiday is gone.

Sometimes you just have to say, ‘no, I’m not doing things that way’. Then you take the road less traveled.

It will take creativity, but you can celebrate Dad (and any other holiday) in a meaningful way. Even more so, you can do it without putting hundreds of dollars on a credit card.

We did it and we truly had a wonderful time!

Here is some of our weekend at a glance… Hope you enjoyed your Father’s Day weekend as well.
