Is Your Husband The Lucky One? (& A Free Printable {52 Weeks Of Love Notes})

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her,  and she will greatly enrich his life.. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. Proverbs 31:10-12

The {Live Life Fully Committed} Challenge takes a stop at Marriage Corner. Marriage is hard work. It takes putting off self, every-single-day, to better serve the husband God has blessed us with.

Now, before you exit the browser and move on, let me add: this is not a call to a lifetime of doormat status. Instead, it’s a call to walk in the influential role granted to you.

The book of Proverbs tells us, “an excellent wife is far more precious than jewels”. The author challenges, “who can find her?”

‘Go ahead, take your best shot, but it won’t be easy finding her.’

She’s a woman of great value. A woman of so much worth, precious jewels could never compare.  She is priceless!

A heart that is fully committed to God is a heart fully committed to marriage. The covenant between a wife and a husband is likened to that of Christ and his bride (the church) (Ephesians 5:25-27).

A Note For You:

Dear precious wife (who’s overworked, tired, and fatigued),

I know you’ve had a long day. I know you’d love nothing more than to have your husband scoop you up in his arms, hold you, love on you, and tell you it’s going to be ok.

But for today, would you give up what you want to receive, to pour out what your husband needs?

Could you live life with a heart fully committed to God, the One Who holds your marriage together? And in doing so, would you dare believe in faith that He will strengthen you for the task at hand?

Beneath the thick skin and bulky muscles, sheltered and protected within his ribcage, is a heart that’s fragile and delicate. Are you willing to be the one who he entrusts with his heart?

Precious wife, you have so much power to influence and encourage that man. You have the ability to enrich his life like no other person can.

And God, He wants to help you with this too…

Today’s Challenge:

  •   Are you willing to invest at least 5-15 minutes a week on your marriage (for this challenge)?
